Aufgaben
- Lead and manage up to 20 production employees in coordination with the group leader
- Enhance employee motivation through regular communication and tracking of actions
- Develop team members by exemplifying and teaching GKN culture principles
- Organize personnel deployment and training while ensuring compliance with processes, quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines
- Coordinate workflow and manage work resources
- Plan production orders in detail and monitor production metrics to achieve quality and quantity targets
- Ensure adherence to cost, schedule, and quality standards in the assigned area
- Manage budget related to costs, productivity, and hours
- Guarantee product quality and continuously improve processes
- Promote the consistent application of the Lean Operating Model (LOM)
- Foster a culture aligned with GKN Aerospace's 'Great Place To Work' values by modeling behaviors and recognizing contributions
- Hold team members accountable for embodying GKN culture principles
- Provide honest performance appraisals while supporting and coaching individuals
- Create opportunities for team members to leverage their strengths and pursue personal development
- Exemplify a safety-first mindset and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
- Lead teams to understand and achieve PSQDCC targets for customer and stakeholder commitments
- Drive the disciplined deployment of the Lean Operating Model (LOM)
- Engage in problem-solving using a 'Go to Gemba' approach to resolve issues
- Contribute to the design and execution of the Value Stream future state
- Collaborate with other team leaders to optimize performance outcomes
- Hold functional support staff accountable for adhering to global standards
- Ensure disciplined execution of Daily Management and Standardized work
- Drive team engagement by defining and implementing engagement actions
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements and ensure staff awareness of policies
- Manage a zone budget as agreed with the group leader
- Take ownership of difficult decisions related to the zone
