- Extensive experience in senior technical, application development, or innovation role
- Polymer compounding with carbon black experience
- High-voltage subsea or underground cable applications experience
- Academic background in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable discipline
- Substantial industrial experience in product development, application engineering, and implementation
- Recognized expert in field
- Understanding of demanding high-voltage cable performance requirements
- Understanding of materials, processing conditions, and end-product performance interaction
- Experience within energy, high-voltage, or cable industry (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of customers, markets, and commercial priorities
- Ability to identify differentiating performance characteristics
- Ability to translate technical advantages into customer value
- Ownership and ambition to create lasting impact
- Responsibility and independent drive of technically complex topics
- Thinking beyond immediate project requirements
- Recognition of overlooked opportunities
- Building trust through expertise, reliability, and open collaboration
- Comfort influencing customers, research partners, colleagues, and decision-makers
- Fluent English at C1 level

Aufgaben
- Take technical ownership of the Wire & Cable segment
- Shape technological direction with international customers and partners
- Lead technical development of carbon black solutions for high-voltage cables
- Understand and translate customer requirements into application concepts
- Guide technical collaboration from initial ideas to industrial implementation
- Develop innovation agenda based on emerging technologies and market needs
- Convert developments into portfolio recommendations
- Strengthen existing businesses and open new application areas
- Support customer acquisition through technical differentiation
- Provide technical leadership for global development and optimization
- Ensure effective execution across functions and locations
- Shape long-term technology and product strategy
- Monitor market, competitor, and patent developments
- Identify opportunities for technical differentiation and value creation
- Secure technical continuity and develop next-generation applications
- Contribute to the segment’s strategic expansion and growth
- Serve as the global authority for Wire & Cable applications
- Translate high-voltage cable requirements into carbon black product requirements
- Guide the technical direction of the segment
