Anforderungen
- Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Nautical Science, or MBA
- Seagoing experience in senior position on offshore support vessels
- Shore-based technical/fleet management experience
- Excellent financial management skills and budget management ability
- In-depth knowledge of maritime regulatory frameworks
- Cultural awareness and experience in global regions
- Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing a diverse team
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Experience in fast-paced operational environment
- Fluent English
- German language skills (big plus)
Aufgaben
- Maintain the highest safety, environmental, and operational standards across the fleet
- Holistically manage the assigned fleet to maximize performance and revenue
- Deliver optimal fleet performance with minimal downtime
- Demonstrate active safety leadership and promote safe operations
- Maximize operational, cost, management, and technical efficiencies across the fleet and other managed fleets
- Provide leadership and direction to Technical Superintendents
- Collaborate and coordinate with all departments and support functions for vessel support
- Be responsible and accountable for the financial performance of assigned vessels against budget
- Maintain effective communication and engagement inter-departmentally, across the wider business, and across the entire fleet
- Manage vessel finances, developing accurate OPEX and CAPEX budgets and forecasts
- Monitor vessel KPIs and performance data, driving accountability for continuous improvement
- Ensure audit and inspection findings and defects are closed out promptly
- Undertake proactive strategic planning with the Chartering department to minimize commercial disruption during maintenance
- Represent UOS internally and externally, developing beneficial relationships with customers, suppliers, and government agencies
- Act as ERTL and participate in drills and scenarios
