Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Aerospace experience (plus)
- Expertise from automotive, maritime, or commercial fuel cell sectors
- Eagerness to adapt to aerospace standards
- Substantial professional background in fuel cell stack development (>5 years)
- Demonstrated experience in design, development, manufacturing of complex bipolarplates/unit cells
- Strong, fundamental understanding of fuel cell operations
- In-depth knowledge of bipolarplate and unit cell design
- Proven expertise in mechanics (tolerances for bipolarplate, MEA, unit cell)
- Expertise in thermal and fluid dynamics (BPP/unit cell related)
- Expertise in bipolar plate manufacturing processes and quality control technologies
- Proven comprehensive know-how of bipolar plate materials
- Expertise in overall stack manufacturing processes and impact on unit cell design
- Experience with MEA interfaces
- Proficiency with 3D-CAD tools (Catia, 3DX) for bipolar unit cell component design
- Ability to understand and interpret FEM and CFD simulation results
- Competence in programming (Python)
- Google Workspace knowledge (plus)

Aufgaben
- Lead technical development of unit cell design.
- Define and validate unit cell design requirements.
- Ensure unit cell suitability for industrial manufacturing.
- Act as focal point for all unit cell topics.
- Address unit cell performance, operation, and degradation.
- Own unit cell design specifications and documentation.
- Cascade requirements to component levels (MEA, BPP, Seal).
- Drive cell technology readiness to TRL 5 and beyond.
- Coordinate unit cell technical project tasks.
- Manage interactions and interfaces between cell components.
- Synthesize cell components into integrated unit cell design.
- Ensure integrated design meets project and aeronautical requirements.
- Coordinate unit cell tasks with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers.
- Support definition of DVP and V&V programs.
- Assess unit cell test results.
- Implement design iterations based on test outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to stack development process.
- Refine best-practice unit cell design principles.
- Support preparation and release of stack and cell documentation.
- Examine and apply aeronautical standards and processes.
- Coordinate cell design change management activities.
- Conduct patent and literature research.
- Benchmark potential suppliers and cell components.
