Anforderungen

• •MSc in Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• •2-5 years of professional experience in flight, embedded, or spacecraft software
• •Experience developing software for space, aerospace, or safety-critical systems
• •Experience working in small few-people teams
• •Structured programming with C/C++, Python, and CMake
• •Experience with git, testing frameworks, and CI
• •Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers
• •Familiarity with ECSS standards
• •Understanding of space software constraints
• •Fluent English
• •Eligibility to work in Germany

Aufgaben

• •Design flight software architecture for payloads
• •Define software concepts of operations and mission modes
• •Implement mission logic and state machines
• •Manage data acquisition, storage, and downlink
• •Handle commands and fault detection protocols
• •Develop interfaces for avionics and actuators
• •Adapt and extend vendor-provided onboard software
• •Reduce reliance on proprietary software stacks
• •Collaborate on software interfaces and abstractions
• •Provide technical recommendations to systems engineering
• •Support software testing and lab validation
• •Draft software documentation and test procedures
• •Lead all flight software activities for avionics
