Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or scientific field
- Knowledge of Electron Microscopy and/or X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS)
- Full education in TEM or XPS equivalent to Bachelor’s degree
- Solid proficiency in instrument systems technology
- Experience troubleshooting vacuum and high voltage systems
- Experience with ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems is an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Familiarity with Windows-based software environments
- Ability to perform standard software installations and updates
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Structured and systematic problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and escalate issues
- Customer-focused mindset with strong service orientation
- Valid driver’s license (Class B)
Aufgaben
- Perform on-site installation of complex equipment
- Service complex equipment on-site
- Repair complex equipment on-site
- Investigate equipment quality and functionality
- Approve equipment quality and functionality
- Instruct customers on system operation
- Instruct customers on system maintenance
- Act as a technical contact for service activities
- Conduct on-site installations of Electron Microscopes
- Conduct on-site installations of XPS systems
- Ensure customer satisfaction during installations
- Ensure compliance with company standards during installations
- Perform remote troubleshooting
- Perform on-site troubleshooting
- Perform remote repair
- Perform on-site repair
- Perform remote installation
- Provide on-site training on maintenance
- Provide on-site training on basic operation
- Support local spare parts inventory management
- Coordinate third-party service providers
- Dispatch third-party service providers
- Follow up with third-party providers
- Monitor customer service contract status
- Support scheduling of preventive maintenance
- Complete service activity documentation accurately
- Submit service activity documentation timely
- Take ownership of assigned service tickets
- Manage technical resolution of service tickets
- Manage administrative resolution of service tickets
- Manage customer communication until ticket closure
