- Grow the team through hiring, onboarding, and development
- Coach engineers on foundational systems and community dependencies
- Create a high-trust environment for strong technical decisions
- Support team shaping and broader ownership across n8n
- Drive backend platform evolution with durable workflow execution
- Guide frontend platform evolution including real-time collaboration
- Ensure sound technical decisions on scalability and performance
- Maintain high engineering quality in cloud and self-hosted environments
- Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering for alignment
- Turn complex problems into clear plans and balanced execution
- Bring lightweight structure to planning and execution
- Mentor engineers and challenge technical decisions
- Maintain a high bar for engineering quality
- Support technical direction through proposals and code reviews
- Step into technical details to unblock the team
