Anforderungen
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, pharmaceutical, mechanical, or chemical engineering, or related field
- Extensive experience in engineering, quality assurance, GMP design, scheduling, and project execution within pharmaceutical industry
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and driving cross-functional collaboration
- Knowledge of production, process, and analytical equipment, clean utilities, and GMP facilities
- Expertise in technology transfers
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex engineering scenarios
- Fluent English and German language skills
- Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
Aufgaben
- Lead and manage projects in a matrix organization
- Ensure project goals are met in quality, time, and budget
- Foster a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Develop and lead the Global Project Engineering Team
- Serve as Project Lead for national and international projects
- Ensure successful execution of project phases: design, build, commissioning, qualification (C&Q), and handover
- Report project progress to management and stakeholders
- Track milestones, timelines, and budget
- Engage with cross-functional teams for seamless integration
- Collaborate with manufacturing, automation, QA, QC, CMC, R&D, MS&T, AS&T, IT, and other BioNTech departments
- Work with external suppliers to ensure project success
- Leverage expertise in transforming and managing the manufacturing network
- Manage relationships with internal and external manufacturing partners (CMOs)
