- Advanced qualification as Customs Specialist or comparable certification preferred
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in customs operations and/or value-added services
- Minimum 5 years of tenure within the company
- In-depth knowledge of customs and foreign trade regulations
- Strong hands-on experience with ATLAS and customs IT systems
- Proven track record in leadership, senior, or coordination role
- Very good command of German and English, written and spoken
- Strong analytical skills, structured approach, high ownership
Aufgaben
- Ensure compliant, efficient customs and VAS processes
- Lead and develop the Customs & VAS team
- Serve as senior subject matter expert
- Advise internal and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalization
- Process import and export declarations via ATLAS
- Oversee tariff classification and customs documentation
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and policies
- Handle complex or sensitive cases
- Coach and develop customs specialists
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and learning
- Manage workload planning and performance
- Advise on customs and trade compliance
- Represent the function in audits and inspections
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Enhance efficiency with automation and digital solutions
- Support new systems and regulatory changes
- Maintain clear SOPs and process documentation
- Foster knowledge sharing and upskilling
