As a Country Manager for BESS in Germany, you will lead the development and execution of renewable energy storage projects, drive growth in the dynamic energy market, manage a dedicated local team, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Anforderungen

• •University degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or related field
• •Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
• •At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• •Proven track record in developing and executing large-scale renewable energy projects
• •Experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or comparable technologies
• •Solid background in project development and multi-project management
• •In-depth understanding of the German energy market
• •Strong commercial acumen and business development mindset
• •Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams
• •Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• •Proactive, hands-on leadership style
• •Fluent in German and English; additional languages are an advantage

Aufgaben

• •Provide strategic and operational leadership for the business in Germany
• •Manage full P&L responsibility
• •Lead end-to-end project development and execution of BESS projects
• •Oversee greenfield origination, land acquisition, and grid connection
• •Ensure timely construction and commissioning of projects
• •Manage multiple projects to meet budget, quality, and safety standards
• •Identify and secure new business opportunities for project pipeline growth
• •Develop strategies for market entry and local supply chain development
• •Build and mentor a high-performing local team in project development and execution
• •Collaborate with group headquarters and international teams
• •Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements
• •Represent the company with authorities, partners, and stakeholders
