You will drive the successful energisation of utility-scale solar farms by leading onsite testing and ensuring grid compliance, bridging the gap between construction and a fully operational plant.

Anforderungen

  • •Degree, vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or similar
  • •Experience commissioning utility-scale solar PV or large electrical infrastructure
  • •Understanding of HV/LV systems, electrical protection, and inverter technology
  • •Ability to interpret technical drawings and protection settings
  • •Comfort working on construction sites and field-based troubleshooting
  • •Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • •Experience with G99 commissioning and DNO witnessing processes
  • •HV authorisation (DNO or private network)
  • •Familiarity with OMICRON or Megger test kits
  • •Experience with hybrid PV + BESS commissioning
  • •Experience with SCADA systems, networking, and fiber optics

Aufgaben

  • •Review design packages and commissioning procedures
  • •Inspect installation quality for PV arrays and inverters
  • •Verify HV/MV installation readiness for energisation
  • •Lead onsite commissioning for solar electrical systems
  • •Perform string, IV curve, and transformer testing
  • •Validate SCADA systems and protection relay functionality
  • •Coordinate with DNOs and ICPs for grid compliance
  • •Troubleshoot communication faults and inverter trips
  • •Validate system performance and reactive power capability
  • •Complete G99 commissioning tests and DNO checks
  • •Produce commissioning documentation and handover packages
  • •Support PAC/FAC milestones and close punch-list items
