- Manage Synopsys and Cadence simulation software
- Maintain and update CAD libraries and databases
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Perl, and Tcl
- Create custom design processes with Cadence SKILL
- Evaluate new tools and resolve bugs with vendors
- Build infrastructure for new process technologies
- Refine design flows based on engineer feedback
- Troubleshoot technical issues for CAD users
- Explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff
- Diagnose and resolve user technical problems
- Ensure compliance with industry design standards
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
- Organize and manage technical documentation
