Aufgaben
- Implement and enforce corporate customs guidelines
- Ensure regulatory compliance at all German sites
- Act as the primary contact for customs authorities
- Conduct international trade and customs risk assessments
- Maintain AEO compliance through audits and documentation
- Manage trade agreement communications with suppliers and customers
- Calculate origin of goods per preferential law
- Ensure compliant import and export clearance
- Adhere to trade sanctions and embargoes
- Classify customs tariffs using the Harmonized System
- Prepare and submit BTI applications
- Optimize customs duties via trade agreements
- Support sourcing strategies to reduce customs value
- Prepare and support formal customs audits
- Maintain all required customs documentation
