- Advanced GCP expertise, especially BigQuery
- Proven experience in GCP data pipelines/marts
- Hands-on BI re-architecting/modernization experience
- Advanced SQL skills (optimization, complex queries)
- Practical Git version control experience
- Data pipeline orchestration/automation experience (dbt, Airflow, Dataflow, Spark)
- Proven data modeling/data mart development track record
- Strong migration path design/documentation ability
- Hands-on BI/visualization tools experience (Looker Studio, Looker ML)
- Several years relevant experience as BI/Analytical Engineer, Data Engineer or Senior Data Analyst
- Proficiency in English
Aufgaben
- Design and optimize BigQuery data transformations
- Develop standardized data pipelines
- Maintain automated and monitored data pipelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders on KPI definitions
- Implement KPIs within the data mart layer
- Support migration from SAP BO to GCP/Looker
- Analyze legacy reporting systems
- Understand existing data usage and KPI logic
- Define improved BigQuery solutions
- Identify missing data points
- Evaluate data dependencies
- Coordinate with Data Engineering for complete solutions
- Implement monitoring, testing, and documentation frameworks
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparency
- Partner with business teams and analysts
- Align technical solutions with business needs
- Develop standardized reporting layers like Looker Studio
- Prevent inefficient ad-hoc reporting
- Facilitate training sessions for business users
- Provide support for business users
- Enhance adoption of reporting tools
- Improve understanding of KPI logic
