Aufgaben
- Support and consult on IP information and process management
- Generate strategic IP insights for the European market
- Liaise with inventors, IP Team, and outside counsels
- Facilitate the creation of Intellectual Property rights
- Facilitate the maintenance of Intellectual Property rights
- Use the IPM tool for collaborative invention reviews
- Provide training for the IPM tool
- Utilize the IPM tool for patent filing
- Utilize the IPM tool for patent life cycle management
- Prepare responses to patent office actions
- Collaborate with inventors on patent office actions
- Communicate with external patent law firms
- Track patent office action deadlines for MPM GmbH
- Inform European inventors of patent office actions
- Inform IP team members of patent office actions
- Collaborate with IP Legal team on European patent filings
- Collaborate with IP Legal team on US patent filings
- Collaborate with IP Legal team on PCT filings
- Obtain PoA forms from outside counsel
- Organize IP reviews using IPM tool information
- Review Legal tracker invoices from outside counsels
- Review patents due for annuity
- Implement patent annuity review decisions
- Follow up with German inventors on patent annuities
- Disseminate patent progress and grant information to European inventors
- Manage inventor awards
- Support inventor fees
- Update inventor and retired employee databases with contact addresses
- Obtain sales information for inventor fee calculation
- Record inventor shares
- Respond to Finance inquiries on patent expenditures
- Collaborate with HR/Payroll on inventor awards
- Update patent status for inventor fee calculation
- Furnish patent information to inventors as needed
- Support Technologists with patent and non-patent literature
- Perform patent searches for MPM GmbH projects
- Perform patentability analysis for MPM GmbH projects
- Perform patent landscape analysis for MPM GmbH projects
- Provide strategic IP insights on European commercial technologies
