As an Actuarial Expert, you will focus on developing and maintaining risk models while collaborating with various business areas. This role involves mentoring junior analysts, participating in key projects, and presenting findings to management.

Anforderungen

• •Excellent tertiary qualification, ideally Master in Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline, or qualified by experience
• •Steps taken towards actuarial qualification, e.g. Actuarial exams passed
• •Strong professional experience in actuarial roles
• •Finance and Insurance know-how, ideally P&C, regarding market dynamics and standard concepts
• •Proven experience in developing and implementing stochastic models
• •Extensive computer skills, including MS Office, VBA, ResQ, Igloo, R, SQL, or Python
• •Solid understanding of data analysis, automation, and AI tools with awareness of ethical AI usage
• •Ability to identify patterns and root causes in complex data and processes
• •Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively
• •Good ability to persuade and motivate others without direct authority
• •Fluent in English, German language skills of advantage
• •Basic understanding of artificial intelligence and its potential applications in business

• •Develop and maintain actuarial risk models
• •Document and explain risk model results
• •Collaborate with various business areas to understand impacts on actuarial drivers
• •Participate in risk modeling and IFRS17 related projects
• •Enhance actuarial models and analyses
• •Peer review team members' work
• •Mentor and guide junior analysts
• •Manage and drive projects in your area of responsibility
