Anforderungen

• 5 years professional experience in accounting or finance
• Experience in team management and leadership
• Education as German certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) preferred
• Knowledge of HGB and basic IFRS understanding
• Experience with external tax advisors and auditors
• Excellent German language skills
• Good English language skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective collaboration with parent company and departments
• Positive attitude and service orientation
• Experience in process optimization and efficiency
• International collaboration experience as a plus
• Proficiency in German and English communication

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the local accounting team
• Close the local books according to HGB standards
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with local GAAP
• Collaborate with external tax advisors on tax returns
• Coordinate and manage the external audit process
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Maintain effective communication with the parent company
• Drive process optimization and efficiency improvements
• Provide financial insights and support to other departments
• Foster a positive and service-oriented work environment
• Manage international collaborations and cross-border communication
