In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing exterior trim parts for future vehicles, ensuring they meet high standards of cost, weight, and performance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with production teams, analyzing market trends, and reporting innovations to management.

Anforderungen

• •Solid experience as body part engineer at automotive OEM or key Tier 1 supplier
• •Automotive or Mechanical Engineering degree with minimum 3 years of professional body development experience
• •Experience in serial part developments including design reviews and quality reviews
• •Excellent market knowledge of body technologies related to materials and processes
• •Strong pro-active attitude and innovative mind with strategic and flexible working style
• •Analytical thinker with output driven communication and strong deadline driven performance
• •Sound knowledge of MS Office, CATIA V5 and drawing release/BOM software
• •Willingness to travel frequently and good level of English in speech and writing

Aufgaben

• •Lead development of exterior trim parts for future vehicles
• •Oversee engineering of components like bumpers and spoilers from concept to production
• •Optimize cost, weight, performance, design, materials, and quality of parts
• •Participate in production plant trials in Korea and the EU to address quality and assembly issues
• •Analyze the EU market and competitors to provide body recommendations
• •Report on European body innovations through industry networks and events
• •Evaluate solutions based on cost, weight, and performance for Hyundai management
• •Provide regular updates on part development progress to EU and Korean management
