VP Strategy and Business Development, Water Infrastructure(m/w/x)

In this role, you will shape the strategic direction of the water infrastructure segment by identifying growth opportunities, developing partnerships, and leading M&A processes. Anforderungen
- •Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering, MBA preferred
- •Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy and business development roles
- •Experience in a multinational company or management consulting firm, ‘Big 4’ advisory or similar background with strategic growth/inorganic growth experience
- •Proven track record in strategy development and business development
- •Knowledge of the water industry and adjacent business areas
- •Experience in a professional services environment with tight deadlines
- •Distinctive critical thinking and analytic capabilities
- •Influencing skills and ability to align stakeholders
- •Strong teamwork skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- •Excellent written and oral communication skills
- •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- •Fluency in English; other languages are advantageous

- •Lead long-term segment strategy
- •Define priorities and communicate long-term strategies
- •Create and facilitate the strategic planning process
- •Translate strategy into KPIs
- •Report business metrics monthly
- •Drive business reviews at the segment level
- •Develop a framework for macro leading indicators
- •Identify and prioritize strategic initiatives
- •Ensure initiatives align with priorities
- •Support development of execution plans
- •Set guidance on initiative management
- •Monitor and report on strategic initiative progress
- •Identify and assess market opportunities
- •Perform value mapping for profitable growth areas
- •Develop and maintain a pipeline of M&A targets
- •Evaluate and prioritize targets for assessment
- •Conduct due diligence on selected targets
- •Coordinate with stakeholders during evaluations
- •Execute M&A processes from NDA to integration
- •Lead divestitures and coordinate stakeholder involvement
- •Centralize market insights resources
- •Conduct targeted research on markets and competitors
- •Manage ad-hoc market analysis requests
- •Disseminate insights across the organization
- •Hold regular SAM meetings
- •Contribute to Monthly Business Reviews
