- Champion research and development efforts for new technologies
- Promote internal use of the company's code quality and security tools
- Ensure reliability and performance of deployed capabilities
- Refine and scale the software development lifecycle for high-quality releases
- Set and enforce standards for engineering quality and application security
- Define and track key engineering metrics to improve team effectiveness
- Translate business goals into an executable engineering roadmap
- Collaborate with Product Management on technical debt and feature development
- Act as a technical spokesperson for the company
- Spearhead the Engineering function across various domains
