Anforderungen

• •Experience in web-based application development
• •Strong Java 11+ backend experience
• •Experience with Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate
• •Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or equivalent
• •Experience with RESTful APIs
• •Angular or equivalent modern framework experience
• •Full-stack development and CI/CD practices
• •Familiarity with Docker and containerised environments
• •Experience with Jira or project tools
• •Understanding of software engineering principles
• •Ability to design clean, testable code
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• •Experience with automated testing frameworks
• •Independence and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
• •Clear communication and technical explanation skills
• •Structured and well-documented development approach
• •Spoken and written English or French
• •National of CERN Member or Associate
• •Background in Software Engineering or related
• •No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract

Aufgaben

• •Integrate third-party software using standardized APIs
• •Ensure stable operation of third-party software
• •Liaise with suppliers for troubleshooting and bug resolution
• •Automate administrative tasks through standardized APIs
• •Design and maintain web-based workflow applications
• •Capture user requirements and design technical solutions
• •Implement automation tools and present results
• •Develop and maintain automated tests
• •Produce technical and user-facing documentation
• •Report on progress and implementation decisions
• •Demonstrate solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
