- Enthusiasm to learn about chemistry and biology
- Hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript, Postgres, GraphQL, Kubernetes, React
- Basic knowledge of chemistry or biology
- Experience developing internal tools
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry (ideally drug discovery focus)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform

- Design and develop software products for scientific user needs
- Collaborate with scientific end-users to understand requirements
- Partner with Product team to design user experiences
- Architect cloud-native applications, workloads, and libraries
- Model data in transactional and analytical data stores
- Design and implement web application interfaces
- Collaborate with other engineering teams
