- Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Focus on Power Systems and Power Electronics
- Solid knowledge in power electronics and/or power systems
- Relevant industry experience
- Experience in hydropower or railway sector (strong plus)
- Strong experience in power electronics simulations
- Strong experience in power system simulations
- Eagerness to take responsibility for deliverables
- Responsibility towards customers and sub-suppliers
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in dynamic and multicultural environment
- Curiosity and drive for continuous development
- Fluent in English
- German or additional languages (advantage)
- Willingness to travel globally (<10%)
Aufgaben
- Design power electronic converter systems from sales to project execution
- Perform system engineering scope throughout project execution
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Service teams
- Perform system design tasks including simulations and calculations
- Specify components for sub-suppliers
- Define control and protection systems
- Document design activities
- Ensure compliance with standards and customer specifications
- Identify and mitigate project risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D on system design and modeling
- Define and evaluate on-site performance measurements
- Contribute to engineering process development
- Share knowledge and participate in conferences and committees
