Anforderungen

• •5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• •Strong production experience with React Native and/or Electron
• •Very comfortable with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems
• •Proven experience designing and building local-first applications
• •Hands-on experience with local-first data technologies
• •Familiarity with cross-platform packaging & deployment
• •Familiarity with end-to-end encryption and secure local storage
• •Solid grasp of asynchronous programming, networking, and data synchronization concepts
• •Experience with git, code reviews, CI/CD, and collaborative open-source workflows
• •Excellent communication skills
• •Background in building productivity tools, media players or developer tools
• •Knowledge of streaming protocols
• •Experience with file system integrations
• •Experience designing synchronization processes

Aufgaben

• •Build and maintain desktop applications using Electron
• •Develop mobile applications with React Native
• •Create fully peer-to-peer applications without central servers
• •Design user-friendly cross-platform interfaces for file sharing and messaging
• •Integrate and extend the Pear Runtime and Holepunch stack
• •Rapidly ship new features and participate in code reviews
• •Write tests and optimize application performance
• •Assist external partners and the open-source community
• •Contribute improvements and bug fixes to open-source modules
