- Proven ability to lead cross-functional security initiatives
- Outstanding communication skills
- Demonstrated success in bringing clarity to ambiguous technical problems
- Strong systems thinking with ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Experience building security tooling from the ground up
- Background in implementing security monitoring solutions
- Background in detection engineering or security operations
- Experience with SOAR platform/automation development
- Experience with data lake / database architecture
- Experience with API design and internal platform creation
- Track record of applying ML/AI to security problems
- Experience scaling security operations in a high-growth environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- Build an AI-powered platform for detection and incident response
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for security telemetry
- Architect solutions for storing and querying large security data volumes
- Create rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts for security tools
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to gather requirements
- Mentor engineers and support the growth of the Security team
- Participate in on-call shifts
