- Sourcing expertise for custom mechanical, electrical, electromechanical components
- Mastery of strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier agreements, commercial terms
- Building supplier networks and procurement processes from scratch
- Experience in fast-growing/dynamic hardware organizations
- Effective work with international supplier bases (Europe, Asia)
- Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations)
- Influencing and partnering with cross-functional teams
- Business fluency in English
- Domain knowledge in sourcing specialized robotic hardware (electronics, PCBAs, batteries, motors, drives)
- Fluency in German for local supplier communication
- Background in low-to-medium volume, high-complexity hardware manufacturing
Aufgaben
- Shape supply chain foundation for ANYmal D2
- Drive procurement activities from prototype to production
- Build scalable procurement processes
- Secure high-performing global supplier networks
- Influence cost, quality, and delivery of robotic hardware
- Establish end-to-end procurement strategy
- Manage complex global sourcing networks in Europe and Asia
- Lead RFQs and contract negotiations
- Optimize costs to meet target timelines
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Qualify and onboard suppliers
- Plan supplier capacity
- Align with industrialization roadmaps
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
- Ensure seamless NPI transition
