- PhD in Machine Learning with publications and industry experience
- Research excellence with publications in Computational Advertising, Auction Theory, Mechanism Design, or Game Theory, or equivalent applied industry impact
- Deep theoretical and technical expertise in optimization, control theory, or reinforcement learning for bidding and budget pacing
- Expert knowledge of productionalizing ML models within ultra-low latency constraints and experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and related stack, with scalable data pipeline architecture for sparse, high-dimensional advertising data
Aufgaben
- Drive scientific vision for Bidding and Allocation engines
- Lead optimization efforts in high-load, low-latency environments
- Develop real-time bidding and allocation algorithms
- Optimize platform health, advertiser performance, and user relevance
- Advance Auction and Mechanism Design capabilities
- Ensure fair, efficient, and transparent marketplace
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Analysts
- Translate business constraints into mathematical functions
- Drive long-term scientific and execution roadmap
- Foster culture of technical excellence
- Mentor and grow senior team members
- Act as force multiplier for scientific community
