- Strong financial and banking background or understanding of IATA financial services/products
- Strong understanding of AML, economic sanctions, Finreg risks, and mitigation plans
- Exceptional writing skills for reports, policies, manuals, procedures, business correspondence
- Graduate degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Law (MBA, LLM, CPA)
- 7+ years direct compliance and project management experience in financial services
- Background in Project Management, Audit, or Operational Risk functions considered
- CAMS and/or CFE certification preferred
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of other languages is an asset
Aufgaben
- Oversee compliance in new product and service development
- Identify and manage regulatory risks
- Lead creation and implementation of compliance programs
- Ensure new initiatives meet regulatory standards
- Develop robust compliance mitigation plans
- Assist cross-divisional teams in regulatory risk assessment
- Design and implement new compliance programs
- Identify and execute compliance enhancement projects
- Maximize potential of existing technologies
- Integrate technology ecosystems for process automation
- Conduct and review legal reviews for regulatory compliance
- Support IT teams in implementing compliance controls
- Develop Business Requirement Documents for compliance processes
