- 7+ years IT engineering, systems/network administration, or platform engineering
- Strong Linux platform management expertise (Ubuntu, RHEL, SUSE, or comparable)
- Proven Azure and cloud platform experience (governance, IAM, automation)
- Hands-on infrastructure-as-code and automation experience (Git, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Shell, PowerShell scripting)
- Solid networking fundamentals understanding (routing, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
- Hybrid environments experience, including on-prem infrastructure (VMware, storage, datacenter operations)
- Ability to operate across disciplines and take end-to-end ownership
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- English fluency
- Valid Swiss work authorization
- Availability for on-site work in Zürich (at least 40%) or willingness to relocate
- Modern cloud-native tooling experience (Kubernetes, containers, GitOps)
- Monitoring stacks experience (CheckMK, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
- MDM platforms management experience at scale (SUSE Manager, Jamf, Intune)
Aufgaben
- Take end-to-end ownership of IT infrastructure
- Shape future engineering capabilities
- Drive hybrid environment modernization
- Deepen expertise in systems, networking, and cloud
- Support strategic transition to Azure and AWS
- Integrate in-house SSE capabilities
- Collaborate with Platform, Product, and Security teams
- Design and implement IT systems in hybrid environments
- Lead cloud migrations and automation initiatives
- Own and evolve Linux platforms and automation
- Architect and implement cloud platforms
- Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
- Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery
- Optimize network connectivity and peering relationships
- Troubleshoot complex, cross-domain issues
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Identify and drive solutions for capability gaps
- Act as a subject matter expert in infrastructure
- Contribute to architectural evolution
- Shape cloud governance and identity architecture
- Support compliance and certification efforts
- Document systems, processes, and standards
