- Mechanistic understanding of separation phenomena
- Proven experience in downstream process modelling
- Chromatography modelling, parameter estimation, scale-down/scale-up concepts, and integration of multiple unit operations
- Ability to design and run experiments for model development and validation
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience building reusable tools, workflows, or applications
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization
- Familiarity with model deployment concepts

- Develop and apply downstream process models for biologics
- Focus on chromatography and physicochemical principles
- Extend modelling to other unit operations like filtration and viral inactivation
- Integrate individual steps into comprehensive DSP models
- Design and execute laboratory experiments for model development

- Support process design, scale-up, and troubleshooting
- Conduct robustness studies and inform decision-making
- Implement models using Python
- Develop user-friendly tools and apps for broader adoption
- Translate complex results into actionable insights

- Align modelling activities with project objectives
- Contribute to the global modelling community
