- Understanding of networked systems, real-time/mission-critical software, and complex distributed platforms
- Experience managing internal teams and external vendors in high-complexity technical environments
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and drive organizational change
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and internationally
- Excellent written and spoken English

- Lead end-to-end software engineering function
- Oversee architecture, development, integration, and delivery
- Align with internal and external teams
- Work with cross-functional teams for cohesive platform
- Shape software strategy and make-or-buy decisions
- Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Establish software development logic and plan
- Conduct make-or-buy analyses and prepare recommendations
- Plan and prioritize internal software projects
- Define requirements for externally procured software
- Support procurement and vendor management
- Ensure modularization and interoperability
- Oversee full software development lifecycle
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews
- Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure software
- Conduct rigorous testing and performance optimization
- Integrate internally developed and procured software
- Support operational readiness with documentation
- Contribute to continuous process improvement
