Anforderungen
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in Java and/or Kotlin and Spring Framework
- Strong experience with relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native applications
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (React or Angular) is a nice-to-have
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Understanding of software development lifecycles in regulated industry is advantage; experience with medical device software (IEC 62304) is a strong plus
- Excellent knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Strong analytical skills and process-oriented work style
- Focus on getting things done and willingness to take ownership
- Comfortable working flexibly in interdisciplinary and international environment
- Strong communication skills and collaborative, team-first mindset
- Fluency in English required
- French or other European languages are a plus
Aufgaben
- Design and develop robust backend systems
- Maintain scalable and secure backend services
- Take ownership of critical features
- Ensure performance, reliability, and compliance
- Work within a microservices architecture
- Leverage expertise in Java, Spring, and AWS
- Handle complex data processing and real-time communication
- Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and firmware engineers
- Translate product vision into high-quality code
- Contribute to backend design and architecture
- Participate in discussions with lead developers
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Participate actively in code reviews
- Lead backend feature design and implementation
- Ensure technical and product requirements are met
- Estimate development efforts
- Participate in sprint planning
- Track work meticulously
- Align with Hilo’s development process and regulatory standards
- Plan and support backend service releases
- Ensure smooth deployments and stable operations
- Provide technical guidance to other engineers
- Foster a culture of technical excellence
- Promote continuous improvement
