Anforderungen

• Education as laboratory technician (Laborantin/Laborant EFZ Chemie) in synthetic organic chemistry or equivalent with practical experience
• Advantageous job experience
• Knowledge of lab equipment and safe use
• Ability to document experimental data and conclusions
• Strong knowledge of EHS guidelines for lab operation
• Very good English knowledge and ability to record experimental details/conclusions in English
• Passion for constructive, creative, enthusiastic team contribution

Aufgaben

• Develop efficient, sustainable fragrance ingredient processes.
• Identify potential production routes for fragrance ingredients.
• Study potential technologies for fragrance ingredient production.
• Collaborate with S&T laboratories in Kemptthal.
• Collaborate with Givaudan's perfume creation team.
• Study the applicability of developed products.
• Improve and elaborate new synthetic procedures for fragrance materials.
• Apply green chemistry principles.
• Deliver efficient, sustainable processes.
• Plan and improve experimental syntheses on gram to multigram scale.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary biotechnology and analytical laboratories.
• Record all experimental data.
• Communicate results, conclusions, and next steps to management.
• Source lab supplies for experiments.
• Design lab work safely.
• Perform lab work safely.
• Operate lab equipment.
• Maintain lab equipment.
• Organize lab equipment.
