Anforderungen
- BSc. or MSc. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in student team working on rocket propulsion
- Strong understanding of rocket propulsion; experience in solid rocket motors is a plus
- Experience in propulsion testing (static firing, ignition system validation) is a strong plus
- First experience in test planning, procedural definition, and hands-on test execution
- Familiarity with propulsion test instrumentation and data acquisition systems is a plus
- Ability to operate calmly and decisively during time-critical ignition and firing operations
- Strong communication skills; ability to lead test activities and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a fast-paced, multidisciplinary development team
- Fluency in English is required; German is a plus

- Enforce safety zones during live firings
- Make technical decisions to achieve test objectives
- Respond to off-nominal or abort conditions
- Support definition and validation of instrumentation requirements
- Support definition and validation of data acquisition requirements
- Oversee test setup integration
- Oversee test setup inspection
- Oversee dry runs of test setups
- Oversee functional verifications of motors, igniters, firing circuits, and safety interlocks
- Support test anomaly investigations
- Support misfire investigations
- Support incident investigations
- Support root cause analysis of anomalies, misfires, or incidents
- Support implementation of corrective actions
- Produce high-quality test documentation
- Produce test plans
- Produce risk assessments
- Produce test reports
- Produce lessons learned documents
- Collaborate with propulsion engineers
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers
- Collaborate with electrical engineers
- Collaborate with software engineers
- Collaborate with systems engineers
- Support development of test infrastructure
