- Direct experience with fast-response actuation systems (valves, thrusters, or equivalent)
- Precise control of thrust or flow
- Strong hands-on testing experience
- Designing, running, and interpreting propulsion or actuation test campaigns
- Strong understanding of propulsion physics
- Thrust and flow sizing
- Thermal behavior understanding
- Material and durability limits understanding
- Quantitative engineering experience
- Sizing experience
- Data analysis experience
- Experience with divert and attitude control systems
- Experience with reaction-control systems
- Experience with interceptors or missile systems
- Experience with multi-company or multinational engineering programmes is an advantage
Aufgaben
- Own the terminal control propulsion subsystem end to end
- Define subsystem architecture and performance sizing
- Oversee actuation and thermal/structural integration
- Specify and develop fast-response actuation systems
- Meet demanding response, thrust, and precision requirements
- Turn estimated performance into measured hardware results
- Feed validated data back into vehicle design
- Own technical relationships with propulsion and actuation suppliers
- Define supplier specifications
- Critically evaluate supplier designs
- Ensure hardware meets vehicle requirements
- Plan and execute test campaigns
- Manage bench, environmental, and qualification testing
- Develop test rigs and instrumentation
- Analyze test data
- Verify hardware against requirements
- Work closely with GNC, mechanical, and systems teams
- Ensure subsystem performs as part of the complete interceptor
