Aufgaben
- Design control law for various airframes
- Conduct system identification from flight data
- Develop excitation maneuvers for airframe models
- Fit airframe models with quantified error bounds
- Tune inner rate and attitude control loops
- Implement outer position control loops
- Allocate and schedule gains across flight envelope
- Manually or automatically tune control systems
- Ensure simulator fidelity to identified models
- Transfer control from simulation to real aircraft
- Convert aerodynamic data into control systems
- Verify control systems through simulation and testing
- Conduct Monte Carlo campaigns for validation
- Fly and iterate based on log data
- Mentor junior control and GNC engineers
