- HVAC or mechanical engineering background is a plus

- Strong understanding of building-industry domain (automation/BMS/HVAC/energy systems/facility management/industrial IoT) is a plus
- Experienced building automation engineers transitioning into product roles considered
- Experience deploying AI at scale in production
- Understanding AI model limitations (bias, drift, data sparsity)
- Understanding key AI performance metrics (accuracy, precision, recall, RMSE)
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms
- AWS knowledge is a clear advantage
- Familiarity with data pipelines
- Familiarity with event streams
- Familiarity with production data workflows
- Understanding of building and IoT protocols (BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA)
- Strong interpersonal skills

Aufgaben
- Break down complex AI business features into clear user stories
- Define acceptance criteria for user stories
- Coordinate backlog refinement with architects, data scientists, and engineering teams
- Evaluate existing internal and external technologies hands-on
- Advise development teams on technology choices
- Understand the data pipeline based on business requirements
- Influence the data pipeline based on business requirements
- Act as the interface between data science/ML engineering and other teams
- Act as the interface between software engineering and other teams
- Act as the interface between UX/UI and other teams
- Act as the interface between domain experts and other teams
- Act as the interface between Product Management and other teams
- Adjust communication style for technical audiences
- Adjust communication style for non-technical audiences
- Define how product performance KPIs should be tracked
- Define how product performance KPIs should be implemented
- Continuously assess development performance
- Implement corrective actions for development performance
