Product Design Engineer - Active(m/w/x)

Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2–5 years of relevant experience
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes
• Understanding of product development process
• Experience with external manufacturing partners
• Experience in designing metal and plastic parts
• Proficiency in CAD software (preferably Pro/E - Creo)
• Experience in managing technical documentation
• Familiarity with PLM or PDM systems
• Workshop hands-on skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in additional languages (German, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Italian)
• Highly detail-oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Passion for bicycles or cycling industry experience
• Interest in Active Category and urban transportation
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams

Aufgaben

• Deliver innovative designs and concepts for new products
• Take ownership of projects from concept to production release
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with global teams on design revisions and testing
• Create 3D and 2D drawings using CREO (Pro/e) CAD software
• Handle project management tasks and maintain updated documentation
• Travel to the Freiburg office for collaboration with design engineers
• Occasionally travel to Asia to work with suppliers and manufacturing engineers
• Provide feedback on team dynamics and areas for improvement
