- Define drug product and finished good strategy and initiative pipeline
- Gather input, endorsement, and validation from local and regional Procurement
- Identify, manage, and execute strategic category initiatives
- Execute projects in compliance with policies and guidelines
- Escalate issues and utilize continuous improvement approaches
- Develop and maintain executable category buying guides
- Translate category strategies into practical guidance
- Deliver Procurement Balanced Scorecard inputs
- Manage reporting of measures, metrics, and savings targets
- Ensure spend data accuracy through validation and governance
- Lead supplier relationship management and continuous improvement
- Identify key suppliers and establish value creation targets
- Mitigate supplier risks and conduct business reviews
- Lead supplier innovation and development
- Conduct risk and Corporate Social Responsibility reviews
- Build and maintain business partner relationships
- Challenge demand and ensure contract compliance
- Offer Procurement solutions for business priorities
- Support process and technology harmonization
- Coach Procurement staff and project resources
- Represent Global Category Leader in planning and management activities
