- Strong technical expertise in chemistry

- Expertise in patent filing processes and prosecution practice
- Detailed understanding of European patent law
- Detailed understanding of other major global patent systems
- Ability to partner with scientific and business stakeholders

Aufgaben
- Provide strategic counsel on invention protection and portfolio development
- Build and manage patent portfolios for R&D projects
- Identify inventions and prepare patent filings
- Prosecute, maintain, and defend patent applications
- Render legal opinions on patentability and validity
- Develop strategies for freedom to operate and IP defense
- Apply knowledge of national patent law and trends
- Understand and apply other forms of exclusivity protection
- Communicate effectively with legal, IP, and R&D teams
- Build relationships with outside counsel and collaborators
- Conduct due diligence and provide risk assessments
- Support transactional matters including M&A and in-licensing
- Advise on contract drafting and negotiation
- Ensure high-quality, timely work aligned with business goals
