Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in manned helicopter, UAV, or aerospace industry
- Hands-on experience with composite structures or rotating machinery and mechanical components
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency with CAD software, preferably CREO, and mechanical simulation tools
- Knowledge of structural analysis, mechanical simulations, and engineering calculations
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good English language skills (written and spoken)
- German language skills desirable
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland (Swiss or EU citizenship)
Aufgaben
- Design innovative mechanical systems for unmanned helicopters
- Develop structural components, landing gear, propulsion systems, and control mechanisms
- Contribute to composite structures and rotating machinery components
- Optimize weight, strength, and durability of aerospace components
- Perform mechanical analysis and simulations
- Evaluate structural integrity and performance
- Support design and testing of rotating systems
- Ensure reliability, vibration control, and mechanical performance
- Conduct dynamic load assessments and fatigue analysis
- Collaborate with manufacturing and testing teams
- Build prototypes and execute validation testing
- Ensure designs meet performance, safety, and operational requirements
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation
- Work closely with electrical, aerodynamic, and software engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support international projects and travel as required
