- Success managing multiple locations remotely
- Experience running large business unit with full operational responsibility
- Track record delivering large-scale, complex projects and driving organisational change
- Strong people leadership, talent development, and performance management
- Ability to turn around underperforming teams, functions, or schools
- Inclusive, collegiate leadership style with confidence to address difficult people issues
- High integrity, resilience, and values-led approach aligned with mission
- Affinity with and interest in education
- Extensive P&L management experience
- Experience in international education or comparable consumer-focused service sector
- Broad knowledge of finance, HR, marketing, and communications
- Confidence operating at Group SLT level with clarity on decision-making accountability
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region
Aufgaben
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for schools in Central Eastern Europe
- Take full responsibility for operational, educational, and commercial performance
- Lead the successful integration of future school acquisitions
- Work closely with School Principals and the Europe Regional Office
- Ensure effective delivery of key performance objectives
- Demonstrate outstanding people leadership and commercial acumen
- Contribute to group-wide strategy and future direction
- Ensure delivery of financial targets and balanced scorecard outcomes
- Maintain quality of education and student enrolment
- Prioritize health and safety and student wellbeing
- Foster people engagement and development
- Enhance operational efficiency and financial performance
- Propose aspirational budgets and analyze performance against KPIs
- Implement corrective actions as needed
- Drive improvements in educational outcomes and parent satisfaction
- Understand local market dynamics and address growth opportunities
- Lead strategic development by identifying opportunities and risks
- Ensure alignment between school development plans and European strategy
- Contribute to regional and global strategic discussions
- Build strong external relationships with developers and landlords
- Provide strategic oversight for new school integration
- Support expansion opportunities across the region
- Ensure successful onboarding of newly acquired schools
- Identify, develop, and share talent across the region and Group
- Support succession planning and cross-regional talent mobility
- Manage performance and foster continuous improvement
- Lead diverse leadership teams with integrity and inclusivity
- Prioritize safeguarding and ensure compliance with global and local requirements
