Anforderungen
- Degree in Computer Science from a university or technical college
- Proven track record as a system engineer/administrator in highly regulated environments
- Solid understanding of Fircosoft products, including FircoContinuity, FircoTrust, and Firco Screen & Keep
- Experience with list management, quality assurance, and maintaining audit trails
- Familiarity with financial regulations, such as OFAC, HMT, EU, and UN sanctions lists
- Hands-on experience with sanctions screening processes
- Strong technical skills, including database management (Oracle), PKI, SSH, digital certificates, IP networking, load balancing, firewalls, programming (Java, Shell, Perl), and messaging technologies (JMS, IBM MQ, Apache Kafka)
- Ability to analyse data, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights to improve system performance
- Experience in project planning, system implementation, and leading system/user acceptance testing
- Proactive, organised, and self-motivated
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within teams and with stakeholders
- Understanding of business requirements and system workflows
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Fluency in English (C1, written/verbal); German is a significant advantage
- Willingness to participate in the team’s rotating 7x24 on-call service
Aufgaben
- Install, configure, and maintain Fircosoft software and infrastructure
- Develop, test, and optimize Fircosoft rules for detecting suspicious transactions
- Assess system performance and implement improvements for screening accuracy
- Collaborate with IT, Compliance, and Operations teams for smooth integration
- Ensure compliance with international sanctions regulations and internal policies
- Investigate and resolve system issues, including filtering engine errors
- Maintain change logs, generate performance reports, and document processes
- Monitor regulatory requirements and updates to global sanctions lists
- Contribute to IT system enhancements and participate in solution design discussions
- Apply analytical and organizational skills throughout the project lifecycle
