Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree or working towards Master's in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or similar
- Enjoy hands-on lab work
- Classroom or other experience with characterization of porous materials (N₂ adsorption, Hg porosimetry, DVS, etc.)
- Classroom or other experience with adsorption characterization (breakthrough testing)
- Familiarity with CO₂ capture (beneficial but not required)
- Eagerness to learn new concepts, skills, and tools
- Reliability

- Availability for 6-month internship
- Start date preferably in August 2026 or shortly thereafter
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of German or other languages (beneficial but not required)
Aufgaben
- Support sorbent evaluation and development
- Gain hands-on lab testing experience
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams
- Conduct adsorption characterization
- Perform accelerated lifetime testing
- Evaluate process-relevant materials
- Test material stability under aging conditions
- Measure unary and binary isotherms
- Work independently on targeted projects
- Understand material properties' impact on DAC
- Develop and refine experimental methods
- Validate and document experimental results
- Troubleshoot and communicate findings effectively
