- Oversee apparel development organization
- Align seasonal brand direction, business priorities, sourcing, and quality
- Guide product creation calendar
- Deliver against design intent, quality, margin, and timeline
- Inspire and lead your team
- Provide coaching and guidance
- Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Innovation leaders
- Maximize efficiency in calendar adherence, margin, quality, and delivery
- Develop product category strategies
- Align strategies with brand objectives, sourcing, and quality
- Identify opportunities to expand commercial growth
- Build and manage Product Development and Material strategies
- Ensure effective implementation across teams and vendors
- Define and manage the operating budget
- Balance innovation with cost efficiency
- Partner with Operations and Commercial functions
- Implement and monitor product development programs
- Manage raw material commercialization, fit, calendar, and color adherence
- Lead brand product innovation
- Research new materials, technologies, and product functionalities
- Provide trend guidelines to Design, Material, and Merchandising teams
- Ensure accuracy of product specifications
- Analyze global market trends and drivers
- Inform product strategies with market insights
- Provide insights to Product, Merchandising, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Improve product plans and go-to-market tools
- Leverage brand DNA for consumer trends
- Ensure team compliance with seasonal timelines
- Recommend calendar adjustments
- Manage seasonal product workflow
- Collaborate with sourcing on vendor allocation and pricing
- Optimize production issues
- Deliver targets in gross margin, efficiency, and cost savings
- Lead, coach, and develop Product Development and Materials teams
- Foster collaboration and high performance
- Unlock and build digital product creation processes
- Champion a culture of innovation and accountability
- Champion continuous improvement
