- Build and scale technical backbone for data transformation
- Ensure data automation, reliability, and readiness
- Direct a department of 25 engineers through three team leads
- Manage teams focused on data crawling, ingestion, and structuring
- Oversee development of internal tools for research and modeling
- Guide architecture, infrastructure, and taxonomy governance
- Define and own technical roadmap in OKR-driven environment
- Set ambitious objectives and manage capacity allocation
- Align teams with broader data production strategy
- Inform stakeholders about progress and achievements
- Maintain hands-on approach to architecture and code quality
- Guide technical standards and evaluate engineering trade-offs
- Conduct code reviews for clean, scalable solutions
- Drive adoption of AI capabilities for data extraction
- Partner with Product, Tech, and distribution teams
- Understand and meet needs of data-producing teams
- Ensure seamless integration of data into customer-facing products
