Flying Fuel Cell Mechanical Design and Integration Engineer(m/w/x)

Anforderungen
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or comparable field
- Profound experience in Mechanical Design and Integration in Aerospace (preferably aircraft systems or engines)
- Demonstrated experience leading mechanical design feasibility studies
- Knowledge of Aerospace Processes, Methods, Standards (e.g., ARP4754, ARP4761, Do160)
- Preferably experience integrating high-voltage systems for aviation
- Ability to dissect complex interdisciplinary challenges
- Scientific curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving feasibility
- Proven analytical and organizational skills
- Enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
- Very good English knowledge
- Knowledge of Aerospace Processes, Methods, Standards (e.g., ARP4754, ARP4761, Do160)
Aufgaben
- Mechanically design the FFC engine
- Integrate FFC sub-systems and components
- Balance functional, performance, and installation requirements
- Collaborate with FFC Engineering functions
- Collaborate with international FFC mechanical design team
- Specify propulsion system installation requirements
- Support FFC system certification and qualification
- Perform FFC safety analyses, including Zonal Safety Analysis
- Prepare FFC system for industrialization
- Support technical Project Management and Chief Engineering
- Support new projects from preliminary design to engine delivery
- Improve system development processes and tools
- Collaborate with external partners on FFC technology development
- Coordinate national and European FFC research projects
