- Licensed Electrician with related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- +2 years’ experience
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- Strong-effective communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and test data
- Computer skills (word processing, e-mail)
- Usage of calibrated measurement instruments, high voltage test equipment, hand tools
- Ability to manage multiple inspection files and changing schedules and deadlines
- Working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and general laboratory procedures
- Good communication skills in German and English
- Knowledge of an additional European language (i.e.: French or Italian) welcome
- Ability to travel as needed and/or with short notice
- Unrestricted travel capability within Europe
Aufgaben
- Conduct factory inspections at CSA authorized factories, both remote and on-site
- Select product samples for auditing and assess compliance with standards
- Review quality control and testing documentation
- Prepare Factory Inspection Reports (FIR) and Initial Factory Evaluation (IFE) reports
- Document inspection findings according to procedures and work instructions
- Review previous FIRs to verify correction of past deviations
- Determine corrective actions and timelines with supervision
- Assess non-compliance for potential stop shipments or removal of CSA mark
- Maintain client contact by following up and responding to inquiries
- Communicate new services to clients and assist with record updates
