Anforderungen

J.D. or equivalent law degree and admission to practice in at least one U.S. state or European jurisdiction
Strong knowledge of European pharmaceutical law, commercial legal issues, competition law, healthcare compliance and promotional regulations, with ability to navigate differing local market requirements
Experience advising commercial pharmaceutical organizations, including market access, reimbursement or healthcare contracting matters
Demonstrated ability to advise senior business leaders in a highly regulated environment
Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting oncology or specialty pharmaceutical products
In-house legal experience supporting pharmaceutical affiliates or commercial teams across multiple European markets
Experience supporting a first commercial launch
Familiarity with European healthcare contracting, pricing and reimbursement frameworks across midsized markets
Experience managing commercial litigation and regulatory investigations
Fluency in both English and German

Aufgaben

Serve as a key legal advisor to country and regional leadership teams
Provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice for commercial decision-making
Identify legal risks, opportunities, and scalable solutions across markets
Support launch and commercialization of oncology portfolio in European markets
Advise on commercial operations, including Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs
Provide legal support for promotional activities and patient support programs
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with consultants and vendors
Support third-party due diligence and business partner relationship management
Lead legal support for pricing, reimbursement, tenders, and market access
Draft and negotiate rebate agreements and value-based arrangements
Partner with Market Access and Government Affairs on reimbursement policies
Advise on European and local competition law issues
Counsel teams on healthcare professional engagements and sponsorships
Partner with Compliance to support adherence to industry codes and policies
Manage actual and threatened litigation involving European markets
Coordinate with external counsel on commercial disputes and investigations
Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with VP Legal and senior management
Manage legal holds, investigations, and dispute resolution processes
Advise on local legal requirements impacting commercial operations
Support implementation of new legislation affecting pharmaceutical companies
Provide legal guidance on consumer protection and commercial regulations
Coordinate with specialist external counsel on complex local law matters
Partner with Global Legal, Compliance, and other departments
Support audits and implementation of legal policies and best practices
Develop and deliver legal training for country teams
Select, instruct, and manage external counsel across European markets
Oversee litigation budgets and legal spend
