- Proficiency in voyage planning and bridge systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

- Oversee voyage planning and lock scheduling
- Develop and improve nautical policies and procedures
- Monitor navigational performance and implement corrective actions
- Support professional development for Captains and Officers
- Liaise with port authorities and classification societies
- Conduct audits to ensure operational readiness
- Drive navigational safety and sustainability initiatives
- Represent the company in industry forums
- Maintain relationships with national waterway authorities
- Advocate for operational interests in trade associations
- Manage vessel certification and ISO standards compliance
- Implement updates from inland navigation guidelines
